Network Scan Tool

Asset Tracker for Networks, our main software, is an outstanding network scan tool developed to inventory network computers, get all possible configuration information from them and display it to the network administrator in a nice graphical way. When launched, this program suggests the user to set the IP address range to scan or choose domains, workgroups or individual PC's that need to be inventoried. After this will be done, Asset Tracker checks each computer in the specified range and retrieves it's hardware configuration and software settings.

All inventory information the program detects (more than a megabyte per PC) the program stores in the database on the local HDD on the network administrator's computer or on a shared server folder depending on the user's settings. After this information was writen to the database, it can be reviewed any time later to either show each individual PC inventory or to build a consolidated report displaying network computers configuration in common. In addition to over 15 reports included into the program package, the users can develop their own reports by using the Report Builder program included.

As it was described above, Asset Tracker for Networks network scan tool needs to be installed on only one PC in the network and does not need any client software to be manually populated to all network computers. This significantly decreases the time between the first installation of the product and getting the first inventory results: normally it takes the network guy only about 20-30 minutes between downloading the program from the internet and getting full inventory results for an average LAN. This makes the application as easy to use as powerful since it detects all possible information from the computers beg inventoried.
