Knowing the configuration of all workstations and servers in the corporate LAN is very important for a network administrator. The main terget of this specialist is to keep the company's IT infrastructure in a good condition. Moreover, software manufacturers develop more and more complex programs that require more and more powerful workstations and faster networks; as a result, an organization should keep constantly upgrading it's computer assets and carefully plan those upgrades.
